The morning started off with rain. It seemed like phones were out every three minutes to check the radar, hoping that the storm would miss the lake town of Spicer, MN. By lunchtime, it was pouring and the clouds had brought on a dark and ominous grey feeling.

But that didn't stop this amazing couple from finding so much love and joy out of their day!

The radar was showing about an hour and a half reprieve before another rain cell would come over the town, resulting in a 30-minute delay for the ceremony. Fingers were crossed, prayers were said, and sure enough, the sun came out! I was in awe at how quickly family members grabbed towels to dry off all the chairs so we could take advantage of our limited window. And boy did the sun deliver! It shined down boldly and warm while Cienna and Steven shared vows overlooking beautiful scenery and surrounded by their friends and family.

I truly believe it was the loving souls of Cienna and Steven, along with so much love from their friends and family, that brought out the sunshine just long enough to have one of the most beautiful ceremonies!

Cienna and Steven were my first official wedding booking. They will always hold such a special place in my heart because of this. But it was their genuine love of life and all that it has to offer that truly made me fall in love with them more! Every single moment with them in front of my camera was absolutely magical!! They might as well have come straight out of a fairy tale... everything about their day was just stunning!
